MY Approach
With over 20 years of experience in coaching and personal training, I have learnt the importance of treating everyone as an individual. Whether you are 70 years old wanting to improve your balance and flexibility or a busy forty-something professional who doesn’t seem to have the time to get fit, a bespoke personal training programme will immediately enhance your physical and mental well-being.
In my 20 years of doing this, I don't think any of my clients have arrived for their first session without a certain level of apprehension.

About me
I'm Richard, a 50-something personal trainer based in Cardiff. When I was younger, I was fortunate enough to represent Wales and Great Britain competing worldwide at many international competitions.
Like everyone, I am still working hard to fight off the inevitable ageing process with the usual aches and pains that come with age. This perspective, my athletic experience, and Building 20 years of personal training experience have provided a great platform to support individuals to change their lives irrespective of age, weight, fitness levels or physical ability.

personal achievements
As a triathlete I have won a European Championship, a World Bronze Medal. I've won many domestic races, the biggest of these being the annual Outlaw Triathlon.
As a rower, on the water I won 2 Commonwealth Bronze Medals and numerous British titles.
On the indoor rower I've been Welsh, British and World Champion.
As a runner I was the first person in Wales to achieve the sought after 500 parkrun T-shirt.
My personal bests are:
5k - 16:30
10k - 34:10
Half Marathon - 1:14.53
While I've had some successes. It's as a Personal trainer I feel I've had my significant achievements, in helping people fulfil results, beyond what they realised was possible.
